Here’s a review of the annual competition! You may submit photos at any time-the 2027 Member Photo Calendar Contest will open July 1, 2026!
Get Ready to Snap, Enter, and WIN!
Introducing the BEC 2027 Member Photo Calendar Contest — your chance to show off your photography skills and capture the magic of our service area! Whether it’s stunning landscapes, cool power line shots, incredible wildlife, or anything that makes you say “Wow,” we want to see your shots.
Why enter? Besides the bragging rights, your winning shot will be featured in our 2027 calendar, on our website, and in upcoming publications! Additionally, thirteen lucky winners will each receive a $50 bill credit, in addition to five calendars to share with family and friends.
Jump in before the deadline — September 30, 2026! Winners will be revealed in late October and featured in the December issue of Rural Montana magazine. So start snapping now and let your shots shine!
How to Submit an Entry
- Review the Photo Calendar Submission Guidelines & Requirements below.
- If all the guidelines have been met, submit your photo using our online form available on the website, or email your entries to bec@beartoothelectric.com. (Remember to include all required information when emailing.)
Photo Calendar Submission Guidelines & Requirements
- Photos must be in horizontal (landscape) orientation.
- Photos must be taken within BEC’s service territory.
- Only BEC members are eligible to participate in the photo calendar contest.
- High-resolution digital entries are preferred. The minimum resolution required is 300 dpi.
- Photos will not be accepted without the required entry form information (part of the online submission form) or if emailing, include: Photographer’s name, BEC Account Number, Address, Phone, Email, A short description of the photo including the location the photo was taken, and a proposed title for the photo.
- By entering the contest, photographers grant BEC permission to publish images from the photo contest calendar in the Rural Montana magazine, as well as in print and digital publications, on social media, and on BEC’s website.
We’re always accepting photos. However, the entry period for our 2027 Member Photo Calendar ends on September 30, 2026.
