BEC $1,000 Achievement Scholarships

Beartooth Electric Cooperative, Inc. offers a $1,000 Scholarship to one senior graduating from each of the high schools in its service territory. Parents or legal guardians of candidates must be served by Beartooth Electric Cooperative in their primary residence. Candidates must be in their senior year in high school and

  • Candidates must present a completed application to their school counselor with a personal statement and certified transcripts including SAT/ACT scores by the deadline date.
  • Criteria are as follows:

Academic Achievement         20%

Personal Statement             20%

Financial Need                     20%

Community Activities           20%

School Activities                  20%

 

The candidates chosen to receive the Beartooth Electric Cooperative scholarships are determined by the applicant’s school. Applications for 2012 must be received by the candidate's High School Counselor by January 31, 2012.
